One of the things I learned that Haynes car repair manuals are very popular with do-it-yourself mechanics, and they have long been a trusted source of vehicle information for a little over 50 years now.

These car repair manuals contain thorough, step-by-step instructions for you to do all types of car repairs on particular vehicles, and even include many, illustrations, photographs and diagrams to make things easily clear and understandable as possible.

Chilton car repair manuals are one of the other highly trusted products that can be purchased online. Chilton car repair manuals have been around even longer than Haynes, and contain the same great guides and information for repairing new and older cars alike. A few of their car repair manuals are even available on CD or DVD, and can be another way people find preferable to paper books.

With so many other brands of car repair manuals available as well it can be difficult to decide, but for me I think I’m going to stick with Chilton and Haynes unless they don’t have what I’m looking for in a car repair manual.
